Kindle fire kids v regular kindle fire

What content does the kindle fire kids subscription actually include? Amazon says thousands of shows/games etc but I can't find anything more specific.

We already pay for netflix & prime, so if we buy the fire kids are we just paying for film content twice over? if we just bought a regular tablet presumably the kids would be able to access their shows via our existing subscriptions - have I got that right? So is there extra films on the kids subscription that you cannot otherwise get? Is it worth paying the extra for the fire kids over a regular fire tablet if you already have netflix/prime?

Likewise with games it is simple enough to download games of choice onto a regular kindle so what extra games do you get with the kids version?

I suppose I am asking is it worth the extra ££ and why (reasons other than the hard case & excellent warranty!). tia

I think it's worth it. You get tons of apps, shows and books included. Do you have to pay to download full versions of games on regular Kindle? They are all free on the kids one with the free time subscription thing which you get for a year and then is $2.99 a year after that
