When do Homebase reduce their fake trees?

Just wondering if anyone knows when Homebase reduce their fake Christmas trees. I've seen one I really like but at £80 it's a little steep for something that sits in the loft for 11 months of the year!!

It's this one Mumsnet

I want that one too - but also not for £80 so watching with interest

I have that tree, bought last year end of November for £50 in reductions.

Ooh maybe worth hanging on another couple of weeks then. Smile

Is it as natural looking as it appears in the picture?

In our town both Homebase stores are about to be closed. Everything is reduced including Christmas trees. If your local shop is to be spared, maybe you could find another where the sell off is happening. We were talking to one of the employees who told us that final reductions will be 90%. Possibly best not to rely on trees lasting unsold until then.

How can you find out which ones are closing? Ask the staff?

Hellywelly10 · 14/11/2018 22:19

I think they reduce them in the begining of december. Then around the 20th of december there is a further reduction (from my unreliable memory).

@Borris yes it's pretty good! I have always shied away from fake trees as I'm not sure about the triangular shape thing.

Spend lots of time fluffing it. Best tip!!

TrickyD · 15/11/2018 07:24

Borris, there is a list of the first tranche of closures here but others have been added since. Try asking your local one if they or another nearby is on the new list.

That is a nice tree!
