How many presents do you get your child each for Xmas roughly or how much do you spend per child ??

£350 ish per child (8 and 11)

5ish mains, a handful of bigger stocking fillers in a small sack and a stocking with smaller bits. I guess altogether 20ish?

They only have one set of grandparents and 2 aunts who buy for them and they don’t go ott.

InDubiousBattle · 12/11/2018 09:50

15-20 if all little bits are included. We spend around £100-150 each in them, they're 3 and 4.

£100-£130 each across 3 kids..however that is made up of money from us and money from the extended family.

A thread like this will always very wildly from the £40 per child to the £1000 per child and the 5 presents to the 50 presents.

I have 5, the older ones get 10 gifts & money which comes to £250 each
My younger 3 get 20 gifts each that comes to about £200 each and join gift of new tv and ps4 with games £500.
My 2 older ones have a different dad to my 3 youngest who are my husbands so the older ones get 2 christmas and they are both working why they get less x

I only have one so far (pregnant though) and I've not done a stocking yet, but present wise we've bought her four things (one was something she needs) but I would be more inclined to buy what she wanted (only 18mo) in the future rather than having a set amount I need to get her. Even if we weren't struggling for money, I can't imagine spending over £200 for presents (for her) and if something she wanted hit the bu

** budget then that's all she'd be getting from us that year.

Vicious2018 · 12/11/2018 18:53

Dd6 will get six presents from us and ds8 will get seven. Budget ~£170 each. Mainly big things.

Equimum · 12/11/2018 19:00

Mine will get five each, which is three from us, one from Santa and one from the other sibling. They then have about 7-8 items in their stocking. We have spent about £150 on the older one, and £120 on the younger. They will also get one present from each set of grandparents, a small (c£10) gift from three aunts/uncles and similar from two God parents.

Governoress86 · 12/11/2018 19:02

My DD will have around 25 presents this year.

She will be getting a few big presents and the rest little presents with a stocking

HairyToity · 12/11/2018 19:05

£50 to £80 each. One main present and up to 4 smaller presents.
