Put up my first Decorations!

My ceramic Christmas trees are up and lit up! 5 vintage ones and 2 new ones. I'm barely resisting putting up my tree! I was finally able to find and get a 6 1/2 foot aluminum Christmas tree and color wheel from 1954! I'm so excited I love kitschy vintage Christmas decor. I'm trying to hold off on the big tree until at least the 15th lol

Aw my gran had one of those - similar to the larger one at the back. She lived alone for many years and couldn't be bothered with a large tree anymore so got one like that which sat on top of the TV.

I love vintage Christmas decorations too, especially lights. Tackier the better! A cheap shop near me has had proper non LED multicolour fairy lights which I have bought the last few years, but I just realised today it's closed down . Hope we still have at least one set still working, I hate modern coloured LED lights.

jinglebells123 Awww I love that! That's how my husband's grandparents were! They had a big 3 foot ceramic tree that his grandmother had painted instead of a real tree!

DramaAlpaca LOL well I don't even celebrate Christmas really. I'm Jewish haha I just like the pretty things because the cold weather and snow make me pretty much homebound

slappinthebass I HATE HATE HATE LED Fairy Lights. I go out of my way to avoid them. They trigger my seizures too. So we too go for anything non LED. I hope you can find something.
