Argos 3 for 2

Is actually good this time around! Previous times I've found they put the prices up so much it wasn't worth it, but I've got some cracking deals including Harry Potter Lego, nerf stuff, bike/scooter, managed to get my family's wishlist in our budget! Some things were still cheaper on amazon but mostly it was worth it.

I have been looking and alot of things are still cheaper elsewhere. I think you have to be careful. Some combinations I put in the trolley were no cheaper than Amazon or only by £2-3, even with one of those being free!

We got Xmas presents from smyths and Lego shop. I think I would have saved £10 using 342. But we wanted to be sure to get everything we wanted so bought them early. (I had problems to get hatchimal twins in September, so little bit panicked).

I checked everything on amazon, some things were cheaper there like the board games we were going to get, but the Harry Potter lego, bike, scooter, doctor who and nerf toys were either same price or cheaper. As I say I never usually do the 3 for 2 as I find things cheaper elsewhere but this year we seemed to have got lucky, perhaps it's just the toys I wanted (I ended up getting the nerf vest and some board games from amazon as they were cheaper there)

(When I say everything I mean the toys we wanted, not literally everything lol)

I work for Argos and our store was absolutely crazy today with the 3 for 2 on . Just make sure you do separate transactions because some customers were unhappy at how they didn't get the items free they thought they would , as normal you get the cheapest free.
I haven't noticed prices increase this time . I would definitely reserve toys you want because if all the store are as busy as we were today , everything will go. I'm dreading tomorrow lol .

Yes I spent ages working out which was the best combination 😂 I paid for everything in advance to guarantee price, I went to pick up what was in stock today and realised I forgot one order argh, although I've noticed as well I've been charged twice for a few transactions (computer was slow) so need to get that sorted.

Ps that's quite a user name, hope you're ok!

Thanks. I've been watching out for the 3for2 as my mum wanted some bits for various kids. So I'm off to pick it up next week.

How long will it be on for?
