Smart Watch for 9 Year Old

My DD 9 has asked for a Kidizoom watch for Christmas, but reading reviews online it seems she might be a bit old for it? Is there something similar out there (and in a similar price bracket) that's a bit more grown up? I want to avoid her having her own phone for a while yet but some sort of tracking device does sound appealing!

I'm considering buying a Moochies watch for DS, but I'm a bit put off by being tied into one of their (relatively expensive) SIM card plans.

I've just bought this one for my daughter. Don't know if it's still a bit young for you but for the price I thought I'd see how she gets on with this before I go splashing out a massive amount. I did struggle to find one in stock though.

My dd age 9 was looking for a watch and came across these this morning. There were quite a lot of them on eBay starting from £10.

Sorry just realised the one I linked looks very much like the kidizoom one. Quick look on Amazon though brought this up. Reviews seem fine.
