'Luxury' candles

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/11/2018 19:16

Any recs, please, for really lovely candles at around the £10-15 mark?

DD hasn't asked for much at all for Christmas, but she does like candles! Not Yankee.

I wondered about maybe one of the Neom travel candles. Has anybody tried them? Any other brands I should look out for?

Tia.

In that price group I’d look In tk maxx and Home Sense as often have good ones in reduced.

TK Maxx near me had True Grace ones the other day. I got 'Sacristy' for £9.99. It's bloody lovely! I'd never pay full price for it, and even a tenner felt indulgent but I fell hard for it!

DailyMailFuckRightOff · 06/11/2018 19:21

I got a lovely This Works one for less than £10 and I think a Wax Lyrical one that smells gorgeous. Both from TK Maxx. Rummage to your heart’s content, for beneath the tat is treasure!

Skinandbones · 06/11/2018 19:23

Some really nice ones on Etsy, all sizes. There is also a shop that is selling the little houses that you put the candles in.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/11/2018 19:28

Lovely, thank you. I'll have a look in TK Maxx again to begin with. I did look last weekend but there were so many and none of them were brands I'd heard of.

Oliver Bonas! They have such lovely candles and they last for ages. Lovely smells too.

JuniperBeer · 06/11/2018 19:32

Have a look at compass candles

teabag20048 · 06/11/2018 19:33

Neom candles are lovely.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/11/2018 19:36

Thanks, again. I got her some Oliver Bonas ones for her birthday and they went down well.

I think neon do discount for first order

YouBoggleMyMind · 06/11/2018 19:38

Neom, True Grace, The White Company all do lovely candles

bluebump · 06/11/2018 19:38

I agree with the Neom suggestion, I think the smaller travel ones are £16 and you can usually find some in TK Maxx.

FortniteIsTheNewCrack · 06/11/2018 19:39

I love Shearer Candles and they have some gorgeous Christmas ones, particularly a spiced orange, and a frankincense and myrrh candle. Miles better than Yankee candles!

They also do diffusers too.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/11/2018 19:42

M&S stock Neom ones, and I have some 20% off vouchers due to start soon.

Ecowix do crackling candles

mimiasovitch · 07/11/2018 10:06

St eval are lovely too. The scents are just gorgeous.

JanetLovesJason · 07/11/2018 10:06

Joik.

Didiusfalco · 07/11/2018 10:37

St Eval bay and rosemary is lovely and has a really good throw.

Nowisthemonthofmaying · 07/11/2018 10:39

Definitely Neom - I have the big ones all round the house, they managed to scent the room even when they're not lit! I love them.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 07/11/2018 19:09

I like bath and body works candles. Because you can’t buy them in the UK, it makes them a bit special. You can buy from a facebook group or eBay sometimes

beanaseireann · 07/11/2018 19:16

Max Benjamin candles - The Maldives and Enchanted Paths

Both beautiful scents.

Notquiteagandt · 07/11/2018 19:43

Anthropologie candles are lovely. Usually around that price point too.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/11/2018 20:31

Thanks for all of these. I'm sending dp to M&S tomorrow to get a Neom one, as that's easy to track down. I'll also have a look for some of the other brands but cba to order online, unless I've sniffed first

If White Company send me a cod, as they usually do around this time of year iirc, I'll get one of those too.
