We are exactly the same predicament as my DD turned 10 in September...
She still kinda believes in Santa too which I think makes if extra tricky as you can’t have that “there is only limited funds chat”
My DD had a pony so we do tend to use things for him and riding stuff that they would need anyway as bulkers...
Does your DD do a hobby, nice dance leggings, running shoes etc?
Lol’s for another year running seem to be quite popular here, and there are various priced sets that go with them?
Mis-matched stud earrings? My daughter loves them, and quite cool, managed to get a moon and star set and Saturn and a rocket.
Pink Cat ear headphones that light up, so cute and functional for all the bad music she is suddenly into...
An Alexa dot, we are buying a 2nd one this year for DD as younger sisters had one and they are always arguing over it, can play Spotify through it and audible stories at bed time too...
We have managed to get a cheaper GoPro camera with good reviews with 50 pieces, harness’s tripods etc, my daughter will use it with riding but can be used for anything and is water proof for holiday, this was a gamble as not on our list but think she will like it..
New David William or Jaqueline Wilson books
We got a really good rose gold and grey Fitbit on EBay which is still in its original box and looks as new, This will be my DD’s main present but cost us £50 instead of £200 my youngest daughter is getting the the Disney Garnin tracker and that also looks good.
Squishes, EBay, cheap as chips, load of different shapes (very effective sack bulkers)
Harry Potter Lego set
Neon rainbow light for her wall (from Firebox) another surprise but something a bit different if your DD’s into unicorns etc...
Unicorn dressing gown and slippers
A more grown up pair of trainers, DD has asked for vans...
Hope that helps, if it makes you feel any better I have 3 DD’s to buy for and none of them are a particularly easy age!!
