Does anyone know when Aldi will have their ski gear in store/online ? It was definitely before Christmas last year just can’t remember when ?

Waiting too....

I'm interested too, looks like the kids will be going skiing this year with grandparents and I really don't want to spend a fortune kitting them out.

18/25 November according to website

Starlight345 · 04/11/2018 09:43

I asked friend who works at Aldi as we are going to Iceland. She said she thinks it’s usually January??

Starlight345 · 04/11/2018 09:44

We are going to Decathlon if it doesn’t come in in time

I just looked back at threads from last year and it was about the 20th November so maybe in next few weeks ? 18/25 makes sense

The normal ski event is 3rd weekend in November usually with the skin pro range in January. The pro week has less stuff though

Buttercupsandaisies · 04/11/2018 13:50

Ski pro not skin pro!

It’s available online now well some of it is anyway some stuff seems to be sold out already or maybe only available in store

It's in stores this Sunday

Lidl also does ski wear in winter (not sure of dates) but we have a mix of Lidl, Aldi, Decathlon and some more expensive stuff - and all have worked well. (All tested in real snow and minus temps - I think mostly Lidl and more expensive bits were what we had when we actually went skiing).

Xiaoxiong · 20/11/2018 12:01

Just went to Lidl and the ski stuff is in.

There are kids jackets and base layers, but no ski trousers, hats or gloves (as in, there just weren't any on sale at all, not that they were out of stock).

For adults there were jackets, trousers, base layers, hats, gloves, hand warmers and LED lights (maybe for skiing in the dark? I'm no skier so no idea what they might be for).

I had the usual frustrating rummage around when it seems like there are a million styles and sizes except the precise ones you're looking for, but managed to find two hideous jackets. They were only £14.99 though so the DCs will just have to embrace the 80s stylesGrin

Our Aldi was really busy this morning with people rummaging but I kitted our both DC with base layers and jackets, as well as gloves, hats etc for the whole family
