Hi, we were planning on visiting Harry Potter Studios on 1st December but I’ve just gone to book and it’s all sold out! Ds (9) will be devastated. Does anyone know if there’s any other genuine way of getting tickets? It has to be 1st December as we’re in London for the whole weekend for the X Factor final and we live in the far north of England so can’t easily travel there ☹️.

No I think it has to be done on their website?

Maybe you could do something like a Harry Potter bus tour? They sell them on Virgin Experience day website. They also show a lot of other cool stuff to do in London that you wouldn't usually come across

Things like winter wonderland being the obvious (but rammed and expensive).

Hi, we are going December 24 and booked it in September and there was very small availability then. Has each slot got sold out? Or could you go in on 2 different time slots? I.e you and son go in first time slot then rest of group in another time slot?

If you can get there by 5.30 the night before you can go to the late night opening? I went one year and it was great, very festive, they didn’t seem too fussed about the timed entry if that’s too early but that could have changed since...

Thanks, we will do something else but DS has been looking forward to this all year! I had no idea such a big place would sell out Blush. A bus tour would be cool and we could visit the station with the gift shop.

I don’t think DH would cope with winter wonderland from what I’ve heard as he hates crowds!

It's worth your while to keep checking as tickets usually become available again as the dates get closer. I stalked the website over the summer for a particular date I wanted and found the early hours had most available. I managed to get what I wanted about 10 days before the actual date.

I have also heard of people booking the studios as part of a coach tour from London also managing to get hold of tickets for sold out days.

Good luck!

Ooh there is a possibility of getting there early enough on the night before! I’d have to try and sort it with work as we’d have to leave at lunch time.

There are other options here, but they're all much more expensive and may not have the dates you need. Sad
