alternative xmas dinner

I am thinking of scrapping xmas dinner as the kids aren't a massive fan anyway. Im thinking of doing it buffet style but with xmas dinner elements e.g. mini Yorkshires with beef, pigs in blankets. I am going to do a small gammon joint for the kids as they love it buy then I draw a bit of a blank! Any other ideas? We may have company and would like to keep it linked to a xmas dinner without the kids looking at a roast and saying no!

Crusty rolls filled with turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing.

I had a "posh hotdog" made with a normal sausage wrapped in smoked bacon like a giant Pig in Blanket. That was lovely.

Baked potatoes halved, with the potato flesh scooped out and mixed with cheese and then the potato shell filled with the cheese/potato mix and grilled until golden.

Parsnip and carrot crisps - you could make your own or use Tyrell's mixed root veg crisps.
