I'm totally stuck this year. My dd is 13 nearly 14 and I have no clue what to get her. I've asked what she would like/wants/ needs and her reply was "nothing really"
She's recently had a phone.
She spends all of her pocket money/birthday money on make up so doesn't need any.
She doesn't need perfume.

Her and my youngest dc have asked for a joint present of an Xbox 1. And I was planning to spend around another £150 on them each.
So far I've bought her a junior driving lesson and some trainers and because of 2 amazing deals these only cost £35 for both.
I'm going to get an echo dot black Friday for her.

Other family members are asking what they would like too.

Thank you

Have a piece of jewellery commissioned for her maybe? Does she have a pet? One of my best gifts ever was a pendant with my dog hand painted on it - absolutely beautiful.
A jewellery box, maybe mirrored.
A camera, although phones take pretty amazing pictures
MP3 player
Expensive phone cover
Cosmetics organiser
Stuff for her bedroom eg fairy lights, throws, sequinned cushions etc
Magazine subscription
Headphones
Upmarket toiletries
A spa day
Party clothes
Dressing gown & slippers
Books

Handbag
Suitcase & passport cover
If she has a hobby, something for that

TIckets for a gig?

Well... If she spends on makeup she clearly likes it so I wouldn't dismiss it because she doesn't need it Smile. She obviously likes it so maybe a nice shadow palette, something a little step up from what she could usually afford herself? Urban Decay, Too Faced, Tarte, Kat von D are all very popular. Or you could get her some new makeup brushes, brush cleaner, eye shadow base, nice cosmetic bag/case or those little plastic stacker type things all the bloggers have their beauty stuff in.

Other ideas would be voucher for her favourite clothes shop, cinema, costa etc.
Headphones/phone charger/case
Stuff for her room.
Cozy pyjamas are always a good bet
Hair stuff, either gadgets like straightener or curling wand or else hair care/styling products.

luxurious dressing gown or pyjamas
bath bombs from lush
a posh make up lesson
tickets to see a musical with you
nice new bedding
£50 on a costa card

I think what you have bought is plenty.

My dd is 14 and getting a Nintendo switch (shared with her sister), she won’t be getting much else, I am getting them both Japanese sweet hampers and maybe a couple bits of clothing. They also get a striking which will have things like lip gloss, socks, gloves and stationary in them.

Dd (15) asked for a clothing rail from Argos for her room. (Around £10) That's all she wanted for Christmas Confused

I also got her a book, mac makeup, primark makeup accessories

I might get her fluffy pjs, and fill her stocking with a toblerone, socks, soap and glory creams

8FencingWire · 29/10/2018 13:02

I’m struggling with stocking fillers. The only thing she’d be interested is make up, if which she has too much already!

  • An acrylic makeup organizer
  • ABH eye shadow palette
  • If she's into her selfies- a light up phone case (with lights on the front) or just a general mirror with a light on to do her makeup in
  • Some lounging clothes from Primark
  • PLouise Makeup Academy lesson (based in Manchester)
  • Makeup brushes (Real techniques, Zoeva, Morphe)

I know you said she doesn't need any more makeup, but if she spends a lot of her own money on it she obviously enjoys it so you can't go wrong. Could get her a higher end product? ABH, Huda Beauty, Fenty Beauty, Kylie Lip Kit

I brought StylPro make-up brush cleaners for a couple of people last year and just had an email to say they are on offer again at buy one get one free. They are really great. Might indulge her love of make-up just enough?

Mummaluelae · 29/10/2018 13:27

Nail varnish set
Headphones
Cushions/throw for her bed
Jewellery
Scarf glove and hat set
Nice belt
Handbag or purse
Mirror for handbag
Small make up pouch for handbag
Stationary
Xbox game or voucher for one
Hoodie or jumper

CaseStudyResearch · 29/10/2018 18:14

Make up storage/organiser
Copper “wicker” baskets to store toiletries
New bedding/throw/cushions for her bed
Fairy lights for her room
YY to something from Fendy Beauty, it’s everywhere atm.
Calvin Klein leggings and bralette

Some really good ideas here. Thanks everyone.
Her make up is already high end
It puts mine to shame. She saves and saves and saves and has too faced/ urban decay etc
What happened to rimmel Heather shimmer and clear collection 2000 mascara Grin

But I have lots of ideas now.
