Hi all,

I'm planning to get dd3 a doctors set for Christmas, any suggestions?

I'd like the set to come in a nice box and include a good selection of instruments.

I also like the sets which have instruments which make sounds and light up.

Thanks!

It doesn't make sounds / light up but the Le Toy Van set is beautiful and very good quality.

My 4 and 3 year olds have the Le Toy Van set linked above and they love it, it gets played with regularly. Great quality. No lights and sounds (I see that as a good thing Wink)

I found my dc played a lot better with a kit I made myself with real bandages, some syringes, a real stethoscope etc. All the bits were cheap from eBay.

One part of this one does light up
Doc mcstuffins, £15.99 at argos other places have it too x

My youngest absolutely loved the Doc McStuffins one. She had it for 4 years, I've just passed it on this week to a friend. It was played with daily and various humans and cuddly toys were successfully treated Grin.

Another vote for doc mcstuffins!
I got dd a little mcstuffins trolley with all the kit and then later a baby cece doll that comes with some medical tools and the stethoscope has various sounds.

Dd is 3 and obsessed with doc mcstuffins! She wears her doctors coat and stethoscope (or stellastope) everywhere... no toy or human escapes the check ups

Someone just got my 3yo ds this for his bday and it went down well. It is a book and the equipment goes in and out of it like a puzzle. www.whsmith.co.uk/products/lets-pretend-doctors-bag/9781783417438

I got a really cheap one from Amazon which lights up. My DS nearly 4 loves it! He also likes borrowing grandma's real kit (she's now retired) if he can getbhos hands on it!

I've got my daughter the Doc Mcstuffins Doctors Set for Christmas this year, she turns 3 in November x

We got this for DS last year:

It’s very good quality.
