Wreaths

So this year I've decided I fancy a wreath for the front door for the first time. Problem is, the door is mostly glass! Can anyone recommend a wreath for this? Any tips for how to hang to a DIY novice would be much appreciated!

Make your own. Do it double sided so shows nicely in and outside. Buy frame or make yourself from shaped thick wire. Pinterest is good if you're stuck for inspiration. Have fun!

We use a suction cup wreath hook on our door. Works perfectly!

Oh, just re-read your post and may have totally missed the point Halloween Grin stick a nail in frame and nice big ribbon hangar off your wreath...maybe thick red satin or burlap.

For inside doors I didn't want to put a hook or pin into I've put a drawing pin on the top of the door and had a nice ribbon hanging the wreath. If your door is wooden and not a super tight fit this might work. Or you could try a plastic hook with no more nails type adhesive on the inside of the door and put the ribbon up and over the top.

I use a sticky backed hook. I had my last one up for five years (the hook, not the wreath) and we've just moved house. It was still there Smile

@ProfessorMoody where did you buy your sticky back hook? (If you can remember!)

Have a look at command strips, there's loads of different ones, I'm sure you'll find something that will work for you

Ooh I'm not sure, it was probably either Home Bargains or B&M

You get hooks specifically for that. Metal or plastic and they sit over the top of the door.
