Photo jigsaws?

Just wondering if anyone had given these as presents and if so which company they used and what size the pieces were.

MiL has arthritis in her fingers and finds fiddly pieces too difficult but her doctor has told her to keep doing them to keep her fingers moving

We’ve done them through wentworth which do different size options. The pieces are wooden, nice quality.

Never given one, but have been there when my grandad opened one he was given by my sister and the look on his face was just “oh great, another photo of your kids”. Possibly not helpful to you, but if you’re getting one made, make sure your MiL will definitely appreciate the photo. My grandad loves puzzles but did the photo one once so he could show her he’d done it and then got put away. It was thoughtful, but my sister tends to go mad in giving gifts with photos on, framed photos, cushions, mugs, calendars etc.

We did one for my jigsaw mad mum, I cannot remember the company but one thing we discovered was that the photo was a lot darker on the jigsaw than in the original one.

So maybe take this into account when choosing a photo.

I did one for my mum the other year. It was from photobox.
It’s actually the brand Ravensburger that does it- which I understand is a well known jigsaw manufacturer. My mum said it was pretty good quality.

Should have said, you can pick how many pieces it divides it up into- eg 100, 200, 500 and 1000.
Happy to send a pic if you want- we chose a 500 piece

I did one through jessops gor my parents, it was really good, i used lots of pictures in a collage tho
