DIY Advent Calendar

I’m thinking of making my mum an advent calendar for her birthday in late November and am after a little inspiration please.

My dad passed away recently (August) and although it was a relief towards the end his death is still a massive loss to our family. My mum has coped amazingly well although it’s hard on her at times. I would love to put together a collection of little treats to pamper her on the run up to Christmas but appear to have run out of ideas. Mum will be 70 next year yet is still very active. She doesn’t wear any make-up but loves body care products.

Any ideas? Thanks xx

Envelope with invitation to do something? Afternoon Christmas shopping with nice cuppa somewhere?
Does she like to cook? Special dried fruit for a family ‘stir up sunday’ afternoon baking something nice?
Something to do in January? I think the aftermath of Christmas can be hard, without a bereavement to contend with.

Does it just have to be body care products, or can you mix it up with things like naice chocolate, voucher for afternoon tea for 2, fingerless gloves, bed socks, etc?
