Winterville?

Has anyone been to winterville? It’s supposed to be like winter wonderland but smaller and less busy?

I didn’t like it. Wasn’t really a lot there and not as festive as winter wonderland.
Although I’ve gone off winter wonderland too. I’ve been going since it first started around 10 years ago and it’s got busier and busier, less xmassy and more like a giant funfair.

Not heard of Winterville until this thread despite being less than an hour away. We have visited WWL for the last 4 years and enjoy even though it's £££

I have looked at The Winterville website and it doesn't look overly appealing. Glad to be told different though.

Is that the one in South London? I went last year but won’t bother this year. I found a lot of things were quite overpriced (aged fair rides, small food portions) and the atmosphere was a bit off, not festive. They tried to appeal to both young party-goers and families and it doesn’t really work imho.
