So chuffed that my shopping is well underway but I am looking for something specific for DD 4. She loves playing schools and I'm after a classroom set-up for her. Does anyone have one that they'd recommend or have seen one on their travels? The only one I've found is by Learning Resources on Mulberry Bush/Amazon but reviews are mixed...

We liked that one- but the pointer was the favourite thing. Maybe for the same price you could get a pointer, some jotters, a mini whiteboard etc and do your own school kit?

In my classroom when the children play being the teacher, they always go for the whiteboards and pens, the weather/calendar/seasons chart thing, a particular chair and some blank exercise books that they’re allowed to use. So I’d get those, a ‘teaching clock’ (like this www.learningresources.co.uk/product/140535.do?src=GOOGLEPS&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5vbJ7pGQ3gIVyLHtCh3KwQ0eEAQYASABEgIHbfD_BwE) and some multilink.

And a pointer like Isadora said!

Id do this...A nice desk and chair from IKEA. A large whiteboard for her and small ones for her pupils/teddies, stickers to give out (personalised teacher’s stickers are cheap on eBay!), a pointer, a register, tissues for in case anyone is poorly, first aid kit, class bear, cheap exercise books and some stationery. You could obviously pimp it up a bit.
