Ive been looking but everything is too young for him. Ideally like a 24 day one not a 12. I've got the younger ones sorted but can't find anything for him

Match Attax or Jelly Belly

H1dingInSight · 14/10/2018 06:17

My 10 yo wants Yugioh! cards.
My 8 yo wants Match Attax cards.
My 7 yo wants Pokémon chocolates.

I had a similar thread for Ds 14. As a result I have bought him a lynx one. Someone also recommended a build your own radio one.

What's wrong with a bog standard chocolate one?

Growingboys · 14/10/2018 08:15

Good question OP. I was wondering just the same thing.

delilahbucket · 14/10/2018 08:18

Ds10 has a marshmallow one from Naked Marshmallow, for the second year running. He loved it last year and insisted on the same again.

FekkoTheLawyer · 14/10/2018 08:21

The last few years I have got the ones you fill up yourself. Tiger had nice ones last year (£4?) and we have a m&s one that you can reuse.

You can pop some chocolate coins in most and some nice 'goodies' on Saturdays.

Mine wants the Beanboozled one.

JDSTER · 14/10/2018 19:19

Thanks for that suggestion @delilahbucket those marshmallow ones look great. Only problem both kids will want one 🙄

I'm interested in ideas too. My son is 11 and for years I have used a felt pocketed Christmas tree which he loves. When he was younger it was easy to find small pocket sizes treats as well as chocolates and sweets, not so much now he is older. The past few years it has been more sweets than toys but he loved it anyway. This year he has agreed to hand it down to his baby brother and is sharing (begrudgingly on my part) my Beanies coffee advent calendar.

Fivetoomany · 14/10/2018 19:55

My 11 year old has had the Lego city/Star Wars for the last few years. He said he wasn't bothered this year. After some research I have ordered the Tinc one. Never had one before so could be useless for him. I just couldn't find a better alternative.
