This is for my 20 year old DD, and to be sent overseas. No alcohol, tea, coffee, stationery or chocolate because these have all been done previously. Any ideas gratefully received!

My DD got a braclet one last year, it was a horse one, so not suitable for everybody. It was two small leather bands and 22 charms and letters.

It was big enough to be worn after 10 days.

Still worn after one year. Not the top quality but nice custom jewellery.

TheCommoner · 11/10/2018 19:55

Very interested to see what's available!

DaisyChainsForever · 11/10/2018 19:59

Does she like candles? Yankee candle do a couple of nice ones.

TheGirlWhoLived · 11/10/2018 20:59

I’ve got the air wick type candle one from b and m this year, looks good!

OrdinaryGirl · 11/10/2018 21:37

So glad this thread is not what I feared it would be. 😄

Leeds2 · 11/10/2018 21:49

Ha ha, OrdinaryGirl! I should've thought more carefully about the title!

Thank you all for the suggestions. Will have a look.

I've seen a nice jigsaw puzzle one but that's probably not what your 20yo would want 😁

SadSongsAndWaltzes · 11/10/2018 21:52

Conversely, I'm quite disappointed this thread is not what I'd hoped it would be Grin

Ni58 · 11/10/2018 21:58

I had an earring advent calendar last year from Avon. Cheap, novelty fun.

TheImprobableGirl · 11/10/2018 22:23

Can you imagine!? A condom on day 5, lube on 12 and a rabbit on Xmas eve Grin

Fstar · 12/10/2018 15:37

Beauty one, loads to choose from. Body shop, decleor, glossybox, lancome, soap and glory. Check out really ree site or lnd diaries or utu e for whats in each.

SadSongsAndWaltzes · 12/10/2018 19:32

@TheImprobableGirl I think there may be a gap in the market here...

Angelf1sh · 12/10/2018 19:36

There are quite a lot of make up/toiletry ones about. Last year TK Maxx had a great selection.

You could also try making one if you have the patience! Wrap up 24 small gifts and write a number on the front of each. I do this with a few friends each year, we spend about £15-20 which is no more than some of the shop-bought calendars and you can personalise it to her taste. It also allows for variety instead of repeatedly getting a different version of the same thing.

wentmadinthecountry · 12/10/2018 20:20

I've just sent the Look Fantastic one to dd (22). Or make her one up - faff but so much more personal.

Powerless · 12/10/2018 20:27

The Body Shop have 3 available. Apparently the middle of the range one is fab

TruelyTruelyScrumptious · 12/10/2018 20:30

You can't send any beauty one that has perfume unless you use a specialist courier.

Hmmingbird · 12/10/2018 21:24

SadSongs - nope, that particular gap has already been filled! (No pun intended!) Grin

The l’occitane one is always my fave.
Great treat size toiletries to take on trips away from home.

Curious2468 · 13/10/2018 01:11

Not sure if I’m embarrassed or excited to admit I just bought myself the Harry Potter pop figure advent 🙈

There are some nice stationary ones around. I have had the brimbles one before and it was good value
