Present ideas for 5yo boys?!

I was getting a few bits from the shop earlier and found myself browsing the toy aisle wondering what on Earth I could get DS.

He seems to have gone off toys a little lately and has a few nice sets, he has got into video games at the minute! He also has a million books

I'm wondering whether a few dress up costumes might be nice, but other than that I don't know what to get him!!

My ds is five but will be six by Christmas. He's definitely growing out of toys and just prefers to be outside on his bike! Here are my Christmas/birthday ideas

Micro sprite scooter
RC monster truck
Lego city set
Real children's tool set
Lego city for PS4
Lights and bottle holder for his bike
Have got him some stocking fillers from toysforapound.com

He also wants a dirt bike 🤔

@WreckTangled ds wanted a motorbike at 5. 4 years later he’s now competing in national competitions and rides every weekend. Dh has taken it up too and it’s now our whole life basically 😂.

Don't say that! We're thinking of getting him a revvi bike as it's all we can afford really!

Is he into anything particular. My DS is a similar age, but he loves dinosaurs, dragons and Robot Wars, so lots of scope in these.

What about hexbugs? DS has asked for one of the space sets.

He also wants the Playmobil submarine that you pump to go up and down, for the bath.

Scaletrix might be another option.

Since he turned 4 my now 8yr old has asked for Lego Lego and more Lego for his bday and Xmas he has had all nexo knight sets and many Lego city we buy any Lego we see on offer at more than a third off as he never minds what sets he has and bigger sets he buys with birthday money (the big £100 sets). Since 5yrs old he has read instructions and builds them himself.

I’ve just ordered my 5 year old grandson a blackboard and easel for Christmas from Great Little Trading Company.
There’s a roller for paper with it too
Will just get chalks and felt pens to go with it
