mini bath bombs
mini molton brown/posh shower gels
lindt mini chocolate santas/snowmen
smiggle stationary for the kids eg erasers/sharpeners
lip balms

just be careful its not too boring though. a family member of mine decided to do this and put in sachets of hot chocolate. it was boring to open, the kids particularly weren't interested, they didnt provide any fun talk value or play value at the christmas table - and as adults we already have tubs of hot chocolate at home so it just sat at the back of the cupboard and are still there now....

For the kids we always put in something they can play with at the table - plastic figures, Sylvanian family babies, small Lego sets.

For adults I have done hand cream, booze miniatures, and scratch cards. Also (obviously for people I felt would appreciate them) I have done bacon flavour lip balm, miracle berry tablets, a fire striker and a viking arrowhead.

Last year my husband did key rings in all ours in the past we have had sweets for the kids (chocolate snowballs), mini alcohol for the adults. Iip sticks or lip balms are good for the ladies. Cuff links or earrings fit well.

This year I'm looking st Christmas themed bottle opener key rings for the adults.

I've made crackers for the last few years, and have massively enjoyed it! I thought it would be really annoying trying to find stuff that was small enough to fit, but it wasn't.

Sone of the stuff I've included (lots of "mini" versions of stuff):

Mini cook's measure
Mini muffin cases
Tea pigs tea bag
Fortune telling fish
Nail clippers (for my DH as his were rusty - vile)
Lip balm
Christmas decoration
Mini torch
Mini pot of slime
Little music box that played Silent Night (it was fab, I wish I'd got one for myself as well - it was from Tiger, hope they have them this year as well)
Pencil/sharpener
Mini bar of Divine chocolate

Also in each one:
Quality street chocolate
Joke from my DS's Christmas joke book Grin
Paper crown

I also personalised them so each person got the specific thing I'd bought for them, cutting down slightly on tat I hope.

Oxfam have the kits with the cracker, snap and hat (and possibly joke as well) - last year they had brilliant toy soldier ones. Am planning on doing it again this year!
