Normally we spend Christmas with relatives but for various reasons we’re not this year. Although DH and DC are lovely the thought of a long Christmas period on our own feels somewhat depressing! I thought maybe we could go out somewhere on Boxing Day to break it up a bit but struggling to find somewhere that a) feels special b) isn’t too expensive c) is okay for fussy DC - one of whom doesn’t like roast dinners!!! Has anyone tried any cheap & cheerful chain restaurants on Boxing Day that felt worth it?
