Hi hoping someone can give me some advice, I'll be in London 14-16th dec and I want to take my 2yo to meet the big man himself!
Now obviously Harrods is out of the question but selfridges??? Do they do something special??
Or is there anywhere fantastic you can recommend??

I'm after something special so hit me with it!!

Best advice?
Don't.

Most FC Grottos are busy , noisy , even with prebooking the queues are too much for a 2yo. Add the travelling round London to the mix.

When my DS was 3yo (and DD was 6 months) I poached him from Nursery for an afternoon and took him to Lakeside (this was in 2002) to the Grotto then to buy a present for DD and a decoration.

He was fine because it was a short car journey , an adventure for him to skive nursery and not too busy so no hanging about.
He "sort of" remembers it.

If you fancied Winter Wonderland on a midweek day , with your DS in a buggy so he can snooze and look at the lights, they have a FC Grotto . But you're looking at a weekend 10 days before Christmas which would be mad busy .
