We’ve had quite a few over the years, they are all good just depends what your DD is into - I let mine (6 & 8) choose on Amazon last year!

you could get a wooden advent calendar (from somewhere like etsy) and then fill it with things you know your daughter likes. eg: mini erasers, chocolate, tiny toys)

there is also this one which is by crayola:

We bought one for DD last year (she was 4)

We bought the one with more princess items as she has the castle and could use them again a lot after.

We've bought one the last two years, DD is 6. Contents are used lots and she has mentioned a few times that she hopes the elf brings one this year.

We've had our Playmobil one for years! I bought it second-hand on eBay when my eldest was 7. The box arrived with 'Lucy' written on the back of it, in kid's writing. I wonder how old Lucy is now? Smile
My eldest is 16 now, so it'll be on its 9th Christmas this year... still going strong. Our youngest is 4.
Totally worth it!

Just looked ours up! It's from 2002! I'm so glad it's having a great run... still loads more life in it.

We had had the post office one previously and some of the others didn't really seem very Christmassy. I bought a couple
Of the nativity sets and split the bits up and made my own using a fabric calendar. It still gets pulled out and played with.
