She will be 3 just before Christmas and she is incredibly easy to buy for. And buy for. And buy for.
She absolutely loves anything sparkly and if it’s hidden in a blind bag even better. Favourites are hatchimals at the moment. She loves Mia and Me and Shimmer and Shine and plays for ages with any small plastic figures. Toys genuinely delight her in a way then never did ds - now 9. Fairies, unicorns, mermaids, princesses - all extremely popular. She also likes craft and painting but not so interested in books.
I need to stop myself because I could, had I the funds, just buy and buy for her and I know she doesn’t need it really. Her birthday being on top of Christmas isn’t helping.

So far she has (to be split beween Christmas and birthday, a fair bit of it second hand from fb / eBay):
Big set of magiclip dolls
Elc wonderland fairy toadstool and figures (never liked happyland but likes the more intricate tiny figures)
Sand art set
Fairy glitzi globe set
Sylvanian tree house
Shimmer and shine unicorns
Shopkins birthday cake playset
Small pack of hatchimals
Paint your own tea set
Lumi luv unicorn
Bracelet making set with mermaid charms

That’s loads isn’t it? It is for both birthday and Christmas. Only a handful of people buy for her outside of dh and me so she doesn’t get piles of presents elsewhere.
I’m really struggling with stopping!

I have the same issue for my 2YO, anything animal related is a winner, so far she's amassed happyland, Schleich and ELC Farm and zoo stuff Blush

I know I need to stop because she will be overwhelmed - also I should probably keep some money in case she wants something in the summer since she has to wait twelve months again for Christmas / her birthday to come round.

She had a Mia and and me unicorn for a treat and she jumped up and down and clapped and said ‘I’m so excited mummy, I’m so excited.’ She’s played with it every day since (about six weeks so quite a long time for a two year old to show no waning interest).
Ds liked trains and dinosaurs at the same age but he was never as involved with them when playing. Dd becomes completely absorbed acting out stories with them etc. But still, I guess she doesn’t basically need lots more of the same thing to do that Blush
