What's everyone getting their 5 year old daughters for Christmas this year? Her birthday is in early January too and I will have an 8 week old as well (don't know the sex yet!) so any ideas would be fab. Thanks! [santa]

The year dd turned 5 over Christmas, she got a box of art and craft supplies for her birthday and various small things for Christmas including dress up things, a bigger jigsaw, a lacing game and a nice duvet cover set for her bed.

For an 8 week old, maybe things that are practical- a travel sized tub of sudocreme or Vaseline, new bib for Christmas Day, small teddy or a toy for the pram, cloth book. That sort of thing.

When DD was 4, it was a scooter that got loads of use - might be handy to go along with you and pram on walks?
