Formula for the perfect hamper

Inspired by another post but I didn't want hijack that one.

I'd like to make hampers for my dc as part of their Christmas

However, there's 13 of them (and I'd like to make them for my 3 nieces and my nephew)

So to keep it fair, and so I don't get carried away I want to have a list of things to have in all of them (i.e they all have dvd, a box of chocs, etc each) then just put a few things that are completely unique in each.

I can't decide what to do for the same-y stuff though so if you had to put together the perfect hamper for a complete stranger what would you put in it?

It does depend on budget... however formula I would follow:
Book
Chocolate
Crisps/popcorn
Bath bomb
Dvd
Mini wine/beer/pop
Candle
Socks

Think that’d cover all the people I know!

Again it depends on budget but my idea of a perfect hamper includes:
The container: ideally more than just a box, or at least a very nice box! I love little baskets, pretty tins, buckets, anything that resembles a suitcase...it should be something that can be reused.
The filler: that woody straw stuff is ideal if you can get hold of it. Polystyrene packing peanuts are at the absolute worst. Shredded newspaper or craft paper can look great or scrunched tissue paper with a matching colour bow.
layers: it’s such a joy to find a second hidden layer that wasn’t immediately visible.

If I’ve understood correctly that these are all hampers for children:
• stationery (could be themed)
• blind bags (easy way to acknowledge individual interests)
• something sweet
• something savory (crisps/popcorn/crackers as appropriate)
• fluffy socks
• hot choc/ melted snowman/ possibly in a mug
• small soft toy
• comic/magazine/ sticker book (age dependent)
• book
• popcorn container
• craft activity pack
• card game
• joke item like a whoopee cushion
