DH isn't too fussed a both Christmas, I'm not obsessed but I have just booked breakfast with Santa and Santas grotto at a lovely cafe on a farm, delighted to get a space as it sells out really fast. They don't overbook, and it's perfect for our youngest who has mobility issues.

Has anyone else booked anything yet?

We booked our Santa train in January! Xmas Blush Xmas Grin

Notthisnotthat · 17/08/2018 15:38

There is a Santa train about an hour away from us, bookings aren't open yet though. I think you get a return journey, 20 mins each way with Santa meet in the middle. Maybe next year once our youngest is a bit older. Sounds good fun.

Ours is about an 80 minute journey with Santa travelling through the carriages for the journey. It's really good and the kids love it (they've been asking if we're going this year for months!).

I am trying to book Santa. I didn't get my first choice last year so I am on top of it this time lol

Ive booked a Santa train for my nearly three year old. I can’t wait!! Polar express is one of my favourite Christmas films.

MrsTmilknosugar · 19/08/2018 00:04

If you want to have a look @NoWordForFluffy

It looks fabulous! Bit too far for us though, sadly (and I think there'd be mutiny if we didn't go to the usual 🎅🚂 too Xmas Grin ).

Booking for our preferred one doesn’t open until October. It’s at a big beautiful park and you go to see Father Christmas in a crystal grotto. Really gorgeous. I am slightly tempted to try something new but I love that we have pictures of DS with the same Father Christmas in the same place from his first visit at 7 months old

We went to a local wildlife centre, the first year they did it and it was magical and not busy at all, now it's chaos as its so busy and you can't prebook. I just checked the cost of the Santa train near us last year and it would cost us £85, bonkers!

We’ve booked our Santa train for the 23rd dec. I can’t wait. We’ve done it every year

DanSullivan · 20/08/2018 13:52

We’ve been going to Butlins just before Christmas for the past few years, Santa visit included! When you check in you fill in a brief questionnaire about the children so Santa knows all about them when they meet him. It’s very convincing!

RayneDance · 20/08/2018 19:02

Omg would love too see what they do at Hardwick hall!! Stunning place.

Also fancy train Idea. Not sure what to book. We did Longleat a few year's ago which was good. May do that again.

bimbobaggins · 20/08/2018 19:16

Just booked the panto!

Equimum · 20/08/2018 19:42

We have already booked to see local illuminations, go to the Olympia Christmas horse show, and a Santa train! That will be all our big activities and they are things we love.

BrieAndChilli · 20/08/2018 19:48

I’m really stuck for ideas this year. We are near to Bristol (just over the Severn bridge)
We have done -
Longleat
Rhonda toy mine
Cribbs winter wonderland
Okehampton polar express
Tredegar house Victorian Christmas

Any ideas????

MrsTmilknosugar · 20/08/2018 21:36
