My DS is two in December so presents x2 for him and I've always liked to organised and spread the Christmas cost. Anyone got good present ideas or bargains for 2 year olds? His pride and joy just now is a cosy coupe car but feel a lot of toys in his age range the now are either too babyish for him or too advanced!

My dn used to love the Chad Valley Mega Ball Run. At first we used to build a track for her and she'd spend ages just putting the balls through it, but when she got older she started to build the tracks herself. Lovely big pieces and large balls that they can't choke on.
My DC loved their tunnel. It provided hours of entertainment. Likewise for the pop-up play tent.
They had a chunky colourful train set which provided lots of play value. It was My First Thomas and Friends Railway Pals. The Vtech toot toot toy garages are similar.
Lots of the Duplo sets are suitable for children aged 2-5 and children seem to play with Duplo for years. Mega Blocks are also great.
I think 2 was the age when we got my DS some sort of ride-on. I can't remember if it was a trike or a tractor, but either is good!

My DS will be 22 months at Christmas this year - I'm getting him a wooden play kitchen and a little trolley with lots of plastic food items. Also got the Toot Toot Drivers Fire Station and extra track - I got this off of a lady on Facebook as its blimmin expensive! Then going to get him a wee playdoh set and that's it!
I recommend a trike also! My DS absolutely loves his!

My DS has a birthday in early January and (checking back on my spreadsheet) when he turned two we bought him a kitchen with lots of play food, a wooden Brio compatible trainset and Duplo.
