So last year we had the twin hatchimals luvabella doll apologies if spelt wrong, and the fingerlings. What will it be this year do you think? I have a DD who is 3 nearly 4 and she loves the L.O.L ball things & a 2 year old DS who loves Mr Bean and Vtech garage car stuff. I cannot wait to start hoarding gifts x

There's a dinosaur version of Fingerlings which are going to be popular with the boys. LOL stuff will still be popular, but Pikmi Pops, Cry Babies, Club Petz, Enchantimals, Party Popteenies will be huge and I think FurReal will probably still be a big hit. Twisty Petz and Bloopies are growing too.

XiCi · 29/07/2018 18:32

I fully expect to be ripped off with some sort of new lol surprise giant ball!!

PastaRedWine · 29/07/2018 19:12

My children had none of those things from last year and their world didn't fall apart 🙄

greenbush70s · 29/07/2018 19:15

I gave mine a donkey for the third world and some token presents. They loved it and wanted to give more to charity. Lovley for all.

XiCi · 29/07/2018 19:30

Well no, no-ones world falls apart if they don't get a present, that's not the point is it. I think most parents want to get something that their child will love for their Xmas present and if that happens to be a dinosaur fingerling or an lol doll so be it.

TheGirlWhoLived · 29/07/2018 19:36

Lol under wraps is out soon and I think will be big for xmas- as are lol big pets which could be popular

duckling84 · 29/07/2018 19:54

Treasure X, I think the 3 pack with be incredibly popular for Christmas.
They are basically LOL dolls but for boys with skeletons and digging for treasure. Brand new out (release date is August apparently although Smyths toys and Argos are selling them already). Tbh I had never heard of them till last week, then it's all ds2 has talked about and he bought himself one today. Definitely see it being a bit thing if the LOL dolls are anything to go by.

Tbh though, I'm quite glad blind boxes are being the must have - ecstatic kids on a small budget

I second Pomsies, I have three hidden away!

SideOrderofSprouts · 31/07/2018 21:36

I’m waiting for the rainbow
Pomsie in September at the entertainer

JurassicGirl · 31/07/2018 21:56

What age do you think Pomsies are aimed at? Are they in the same league as fingerlings? [santa]

missedtherainbow · 01/08/2018 08:17

JurrasicGirl I think they will be in the same league as fingerlings and hopefully not as annoying as furbies! probably aimed at the 5-11 group
I have 7,8,11 and 13year old and have put them away for the older 3.

northernlites · 01/08/2018 08:47

I need inspiration....
What are the 'promises'?
When I type it into toys on amazon it comes up with costume Jewellery,

JurassicGirl · 01/08/2018 12:46

Thank you missed! Dd is 9 & is that funny age where she wants to be more grown up but still loves toys & cute things so trying to get the balance right!

SparklingXmas · 01/08/2018 15:07

Bought 3 pomsies ( 3Dd) and a Harry Potter Lego set, which will sell out pretty fast I'm sure!

RuggerHug · 02/08/2018 06:49

My sleep addled brain read pomsies as promises and wondered what the hell did that mean...

northernlites · 02/08/2018 07:43

Me too @RuggerHug 😂

RuggerHug · 02/08/2018 07:55

@nothernlites glad I'm not alone, I didn't know if it was symbolic of the best gift is hope, or some kind of book series 🤣

MonaChopsis · 02/08/2018 08:08

Better than my brain which read it as pornsies and couldn't figure out what kind of kid's toy that could refer to ShockBlushGrin

I second Harry Potter lego, and now I've had a look at Pomsies I can see why they will be popular!

Beaverhausen · 02/08/2018 08:11

Well my dd 10 wants a Nintendo switch so I have been putting money aside every month as they are £400 with games. And as her birthday is so close will het her some niknaks too.

Mrsfussypants1 · 02/08/2018 09:44

Fingerlings hugs. Large plush fingerlings that do quite a bit for the £30 price. Just received one and had a test, quite funny. Lot cheaper than the furreal range which I found always got abandoned after Christmas day.

nickdrakeslovechild · 02/08/2018 22:38

so I had a argos voucher so snaped up a pomsies, it will probably sit in the box abandoned with the hatchimal and unicorn fingerling.......
