Xmas veg

So sorry if this a repeat of many many other threads...

I want to prepare some veg this eve - carrots, sprouts, cauliflower, potatoes and parsnips. Was planning on just leaving them in pans of water overnight. Is this ok?

Don't want to parboil as I only ever par boil potatoes anyway.

A bit tight for fridge room 😬

That's what we always do,it's always fine with fresh water before we cook it

Also have pre made my red cabbage - does that need to fridged overnight or can it be left in the pan too?!!
