Roasting bags

Following recommendations on here I’m going to try cooking my turkey in a bag. Any tips? If you’re a bag fan, how do you do yours? Do I still need to do butter and bacon?

Is the bag big enough? the only reason I ask is that I have got the biggest I could get and they only just fit a leg of lamb, so there would be no chance of getting it round the turkey. If you have got some really big ones, I woul love to know where you got them.
Anyway, yes, I would still add butter (but perhaps not as much as you would for a straight roast) and bacon, and remove the bag for the last 20 mins or so to let the skin crisp. I use them for chickens, and they are always moist, but the skin usually isn't lovely and crispy.

Thanks for your tips. The bags look big enough - I got them from Amazon
