Present for ds's new girlfriend?

I genuinely have no idea about this. Ds is about to turn 14 and is loved up with his first girlfriend, for about the last two months. In these circumstances would you do a little present from Dh and I to her? Instinctively I would say no - she's not coming over during Christmas Day etc, too new, too much pressure - but I seem to give fewer presents than the MN norm and don't want to be Scrooge.

Ds1 was 15 in September and has been seeing his girlfriend since May.
They got each other presents but it didn't cross my mind to get her anything from me (although I rarely see her- he almost always goes over there).
