Anyone ordered from the Holyflaps website? Is it a big ol' scam?

Hi. Ordered a few bits and pieces from Holyflaps.co.uk after discovering them on here. All seemed legit but it's been two weeks and my stuff still hasn't arrived. They do not answer the phone or respond to email. I'm not on any social media but can see there are quite a few similar complaints on Instagram and negative reviews one of the review sites - can't remember which one, Feefo or Trustpilot maybe. Has anyone ordered and actually received anything? I'm assuming it's a scam although a lot of stuff on their website is now listed as out of stock, which seems a bit odd if you're trying to fleece people!

I’m having the same issue - ordered almost two weeks ago and not received my order. I bloody hope it’s not a scam though! Hopefully someone here will reassure us...

The only way you can really get anyone's attention nowadays; is negative exposure on social media. Their twitter handle is @holyflaps

You'll probably have to take it there and kick up a fuss. They are getting a lot of heat on Twitter so either something bad has happened to them stopping them from doing business; or they're complete scam artists. If you paid via PayPal you can reclaim your funds with buyer protection. Contact your bank or credit card company too if they haven't delivered because they should be able to help you get your money back.

I think it probably is. I was planning to recommend the website to several like-minded friends. Glad I didn't now.

I’ve ordered from them several times and so has my sister. Always received the items but they were always late. Good quality though.

From what I was reading last night, they have TONS AND TONS of angry customers and unfulfilled orders, and they refuse to answer any queries about them, but have the gall to keep their online shop open to con more customers.

Definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

They were slow with my order last year; it came eventually though, and they (also eventually) responded to my email.

Have just seen there is a message on their Facebook page today apologising for the lack of response to customers and stating that they are trying to get the orders out before Christmas.

I bought from them last year and had the same BUT it came in time for Xmas

Ordered from them on 4th December. 8 days later, hadn't heard anything further- no dispatch email or any updates. I messaged them via FB and they promised to send out the order next day by post (so clearly nothing had happened with the order up to then). A full week later, the items turned up so i don't think they were sent when they said they did. However, the items have at least arrived which is more than some orders.

With a name like holy flaps I was expecting a rather more errr niche website....

Oh no, I ordered from them earlier this year & it arrived fine & I was very happy with my order. I don't think the company is a scam but it does sound like their processes have broken down. Hope they sort it very quickly.
