Gifts for nan?

Hiya just looking for some ideas really, my nan is 85 and I have no idea what to get her for Christmas. She's quite active- goes shopping twice a week but not without some assistance. She's diabetic so chocolates are out the question. She's got tonnes of ornaments/the usual stuff Nan's have lol. Can anyone tell me what you're getting as gifts for people of a similar age, it seems at this age they have everything, she's done so much for me though I want to be able to repay her properly! Thankyou!

Gifts I'm getting for people mid 70s upwards...

A Joseph Joseph helix potato ricer (easy on arthritic hands, was asked for).
Novel of favourite tv show.
Squirrel feeder.
Solar powered garden lights.
Microwave egg boiler.
Things for shoes that stop slipping in ice.
Port.
More booze.
Chocolate.
Cushion.
Handbag.
CD.

I know some of these are dull, but recipients will like them, I think.

How about a shopping trolley?
Does she have any other interests?
A voucher for afternoon tea? Or another experience? My mum really wants to do one of those games where you are locked in a room and need to solve puzzles to get out.

Similar age to my Mum who really doesn't want anything that'll 'gather dust'. We're buying a magazine subscription. and a puzzle book subscription; a wheat microwaveable hot water bottle (because I panic about her filling a bottle with water), and a jigsaw. We still do stockings so handcream, notelets, tins of things like chicken in white wine; diary, calendar; a book; a drama DVD and DVD of gardens (since she loves them but can't easily visit anymore)

My grandmother at that age (and I suspect most grandmothers) didn't want 'granny' gifts. She liked some new jewellery (not expensive, costume jewellery was fine), something to wear - a new blouse or silk scarf. Things she would feel frivolous spending the money on for herself but really liked. A really good box of chocolates or something to drink. As I get older I appreciate it is just like buying for someone 40 years younger.
