I haven't seen these in Aldi this year, unless they've sold out? Looking for ideas for a festive breakfast for us and DCs- no cooking!

What are you all having for breakfast on Christmas day?

DC are 5 and 1 so smoked salmon would be wasted on them Wink

Thanks

I’m getting in croissants with jam, Christmas tree crumpets and pain au chocolates for me and my 3 year old to enjoy on Christmas morning, I may even have a look round for some good cinnamon swirls.

Sweet pastry’s are always a safe option from my experience, almost everybody enjoys them including little ones.

I saw one them in my local Aldi just this morning, hopefully your Aldi gets some in stock!

We are very boring and have bacon sandwiches on Christmas morning, every year! Xmas Blush

Yes they are in my Aldi today as well. They also have xmas tree crumpets, which I’ve got for Xmas eve (have frozen)

I know you said no cooking, but it doesn't involve cooking on Christmas morning...

Every year on Christmas Eve when I prepare the veg, I put a gammon joint in the slow cooker and set it to cook on low overnight. We then have it shredded in crusty rolls with caramelised onion chutney.

Added bonus is it keeps the house warm and smells lovely Xmas Grin

I did a Christmas tree shaped nutella puff pastry thing last year. I found it on pinterest. I made it the night before so just had to shove it in the oven on Christmas morning. It was very easy and the kids loved it.

DH wants a full breakfast ( DH, DD and I are vegetarian) so Quorn sausage, quorn bacon, potato scones, eggs , baked beans and rolls or bread.

DD likes the Jus-Roll pastries ( raisin or the cinnamon ones which are much nicer than any other ones we've tried)

If I can get some nice croissants for DS or I have that pancake mix from Costco , depends what he wants.
