Hello!

This has probably been done to death, but I'm struggling to find a post dedicated so what is everybody putting in their OH's stocking?

I've left it very, very late to complete my Christmas shopping....

I have no idea! All I have bought so far is loads of chocolate. Maybe toiletries?

MrsBadger · 17/12/2017 22:18

Mine is getting a new cheese grater, high-performance sports pants, a novel, cheese and chocolate.

Bottledwater74 · 17/12/2017 22:21

I've bought socks 😂 , chocolate orange , Lindt chocolate balls , a few nice chocolate spreads (Cadbury caramel , malteaser ) , matchmakers(I see a theme here) , nice face wash , moisturiser , hair wax stuff and a toothbrush . Might get him some new headphones for when he walks to work too . Pretty boring but he'll use everything !

Afishcalledchips · 17/12/2017 22:21

torch
gloves
slippers/slipper socks
sweets
beer/wine?
keying
phone charging cables (long ones that have fabric around them so they don't get tangled)
socks

Bottledwater74 · 17/12/2017 22:21

Those are for his stocking , he does have actual presents as well

speakfriendandenter · 17/12/2017 22:24

DH loves to cook so is getting some kitchen bits (fancy spices, garlic press), socks, Turkish Delight & a keyring.

peachypips · 17/12/2017 22:40

War history book, toblerone, cycling gloves, socks, pants, gel bike seat, lego head cuff links...

Sassy306 · 17/12/2017 22:43

The usual Smellies, a new razor, a manicure set so I dont have to be asked 40 times next year where the nail clippers are Lol, magic tree air freshener that he likes for car, a portable charger, lots of chocolates and of course the standard toothbrush and toothpaste lol

Sassy306 · 17/12/2017 22:43

Oh and his annual pair of bawbags lol Grin

Ashamedandblamed · 17/12/2017 22:52

I went to tescos yesterday and was LIVID at how cheap all the gift sets were !

The nieva ones are soooo cheap compared to boots and even home bargains !

They have some good stuff tbh.

firsttimer12345 · 17/12/2017 22:53

Mug with baby prints on + coffee, Dad 101 book, some chocolate, socks, Nando's xx hot sauce, think that's it! We aren't really doing presents this year so stocking is from our new baby.

rocky4 · 17/12/2017 23:00

I've got my DP ;

Choc/sweets
Scratch cards
NUTS magazine
Beer
Boxers

StylishDuck · 17/12/2017 23:02

DH is getting pants, socks, moisturiser (fancy Clinique stuff he likes) and sweets.

The only other present he's getting is a new jacket that he's to pick himself so I've spent a wee bit more on stocking stuff to open this year (normally it would only be £15-20 worth). He's really difficult to buy for.

ButteredScone · 18/12/2017 00:59

Some long johns
Chocs
Naice beers
Books
Socks
Berocca
Tool bits

FoxInABox · 18/12/2017 08:22

Whiskey miniatures
A pocket screwdriver set from wilkos
Multi tool from wilkos
Mini jellies he likes
Deodorant
Pens & markers as he always runs out (for work)
Car air freshener for his van

RandomUsernameHere · 18/12/2017 08:41

My mind is blown at adult stockings. I really want one :( I do usually fill a srocking of gifts for do but he asks for it under the tree with everything else. I don't think he really gets the concept.

SatsukiKusakabe · 18/12/2017 12:10

I didn’t have a separate “stocking” when I was little, so first Christmas we were together dh made me one so then it became a tradition before we even had kids. I love thinking of useful bits to put in, and some things we get each other every year.

MeadowHay · 18/12/2017 14:51

I am really ill with HG so I haven't been able to go out and buy anything and didn't want to spend ridiculous money on postage so I've just bought a bunch of stuff from Superdrug today and hoping it will arrive by Saturday as it says it should lol but also got two tiny bits from Ebay a few weeks ago. Not ideal this year but we only buy each other little things anyway for it. I've got him:
-Toblerone

  • Pack of socks
  • A badge
  • A little piece of coal Grin
  • An Original Source shower gel as he loves them
And that's it Sad. It's not a huge stocking anyway but would have liked a few more bits but can't manage it with being housebound.
SC91 · 18/12/2017 23:07

Wow thanks so much everybody, it sounds like there will be some lucky men on Christmas Day 😁

Thanks to all of your ideas, I've pretty much filled the stocking. Now I'm a bit jealous and hope he remembers mine...

@MeadowHay sorry to hear you're suffering with HG, hope you're feeling better soon! I LOVE the coal 😁
