This has probably been done to death but .... what do you put in stockings ? I feel like I’m pretty much done but not sure which presents to put in stockings .... I am aware that I am probably overthinking this.
I have two ds aged 1 and 3 any ideas?

Chocolate coins, satsuma, bubbles, socks

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 17/12/2017 17:41

For 1 yo? Wrapping paper and a balloon GrinWink
No idea really, looking for some inspiration too.

ZigZagandDustin · 17/12/2017 17:42

Slime for the 3 yr old. Lego, smashams or shopkins, art stuff, new pants/socks.

1 yr old can have a new hat, dummies, age appropriate drawing stuff, a teddy or babydoll, some ok sweets... can't think.

Navegante · 17/12/2017 17:43

My dd2 is getting a fairy wand, chocolate coins and a horrendous neon plastic bracelet which she'll adore Xmas Angry. I might chuck in a satsuma for sentiment as I always had one as a child.

OhNoFuckADuck · 17/12/2017 17:43

Apple, Orange, Shiny Coins, Chocolate money, socks/tights, pyjamas if they need them and the stocking needs padding out, little toy, magazine or something to read/flick through/rip if that's their thing, puzzle book type thing and a chocolate santa.

When dd was 1 I bought this disco ball torch and a bouncy ball which lit up when thrown from Tiger. She still plays with them a lot at 2.5

Father Christmas beings the stockings in our house. The DDs (2.7 and 5.3) are both getting

Chocolate coins
Satsuma
Clear flavoured Chapstick
Nail stickers
Bath bombs
Bubbles
Hair brush with their initial on it

Then some bits they asked Father Christmas for: Moana costume and cat ear headband for DD1, peppa colouring book and a dolls bath for DD2. Some will be too big for the stocking but will sit alongside it

Allhallowseve · 17/12/2017 17:59

Lovely ! Thanks everyone !

Ah - nostalgia. When DD1 was 3, the only thing she wanted in her stocking was "a magic flying star like the one TinkyWinky has" Hmm.

She got a star shaped Christmas decoration in a shiny box. She still has it and she's nearly 16 now Xmas Smile.

StillTryingHard · 17/12/2017 18:05

We have a massive stocking so all santa presents that can fit go in there rather than just 'stocking fillers'. But I would always include cadburys selection box, annuals, satsuma and little glittery balls

mustbemad17 · 17/12/2017 18:05

Chocolate orange (replaces the normal orange she won't touch)

Unicorn hottie

Pencils, rubber etc

Choc coins

Tiredmum100 · 17/12/2017 18:13

Books ×2
Pants
Tube of sweets
Tube of chocolate
Box of sweets
Teddy
Keyring
Toy in a tin
Small game-card game for dc2/connect 4 for dc1
Mug

I've checked and it all fits in their stockings- just about.

wonkylegs · 17/12/2017 18:24

SagelyNodding · 17/12/2017 19:21

A joke book is always a hit when they're a bit bigger!
Stickers, stationery, chocolate coins, a candy cane, and a fleecy star wars blanket to fill it up.

Leatherboundanddown · 17/12/2017 19:26

Dd6 has : bath bomb, knickers, popping candy, mini marshmallows, purse, stickers, blind bag, toothbrush, satsuma, pencils.

Dp has: mini bottle of iron bru, mini jar of marmite, beef jerky, lush soap, shower puff, satsuma, liquorice.

LaPampa · 17/12/2017 19:27

My 1 year old is obssessed with penguins so is getting penguin themed things (book, toy etc). His attention span is limited so only a few things. Plus satsumas and choc coins.

jocktamsonsbairn · 17/12/2017 20:52

All the above plus a disco ball for the bath which dd lived at that age and it helped her get over being scared of the dark!!

ceeveebee · 17/12/2017 20:58

My b/g twins are 6 and I’ve got them

DS - 5 hard-to-find lego figures bought from bricklink (lego ninjago serpents for anyone interested), a wind up shark for the bath, some chocolate, an emoji keyring 😜 and a joke book

DD - bath bombs, lip balms, colouring book, unicorn keyring, MLP ty beanie and a heart shaped cheese (she doesn’t like chocolate 😮)
