Just a heads up that they are closed on Christmas Eve because they want their staff to have the day off as normal, I think they don't open on Sundays as a rule.

Good for them!

That's great news, Ira so nice to hear of a company that care about their staff. It's a great shop and we buy from there. We've always had great service and the prices are good unlike awful Toys R Us

Dailystuck71 · 17/12/2017 11:54

That’s a good thing to hear. Wish other shops would do the same, particularly on Boxing Day.

Buxbaum · 17/12/2017 13:18

Yes - the owners of the business are Christian and have a policy of never opening on Sundays.

KadabrasSpoon · 17/12/2017 13:21

The owner is Christian. It's also why they don't do Halloween or sell Harry Potter.

BrizzleDrizzle · 17/12/2017 13:30

Hats off to them.

I admire them for sticking to principles. I hope they pay their staff decently and have other family friendly benefits.
And I wish there were more employers like them (particularly retailers)

Well done Entertainer! Wish more shops followed and gave their retail staff longer with their family.
