Glove recommendations

Does anyone have any amazing gloves for me?

I did the school run three times today with a pushchair which my nearly two year old mainly refused to use and my hands were freezing in my leather gloves, so my criteria is:

Waterproof
Really warm
Will enable me to do up small peoples' zips/helmet clips/blow noses and the plethora of other activities I engage with when out with two small people.

Silk lining is the key.
Leather is fab because you can easily work in them and not keep taking them off for zips, and they'll wipe clean after snot! But synthetic linings are useless and the wool/fleece linings are too thick. Has to be silk.

I have cashmere lined leather gloves and they are great. I use them for dog walking as can still do lead clips etc

Have a look at the SealSkinz range, they're waterproof and windproof and you could manage zips with done of them.

Definitely agree with previous postesrs re silk or cashmere-lined leather. Try here

Originally recommended by a Mumsnetter some years ago, I bought some for my fussy, hard-to-buy-for, glove-connoisseur mother who rates them very highly and has asked for a number of pairs as Xmas gifts over the years.

Also, I find touchscreen ones are brilliant. I only have cheapo Aldi ones though. Coveting a Southcombe pair!
