Turkey crown from M & S

Has anyone had a plain Oakham turkey crown and was it ok?

Says it comes in a foil tray which put me off a bit - is it sitting in juice? ( I find turkey goes a bit spongy if it's wet)

Also, collection - is it manic? Fun?!!

Thanks

I've had the Pembrokeshire Bronze Turkey Crown for the past few years and it's been really lovely, doesn't seem to suffer being cooked in it's own tray. We pick it (and all the extras) up after my birthday lunch on 23/12. Although M&S give us a 30min time slot, they have been flexible on that, (my birthday lunch with hubby & kids sometimes overruns!) They shut/re-jig part of the shop and have a bank-like 'snake' queueing system with tills and it seems to run pretty smoothly. Never more than a few people in front of us.

Thank you! Sounds good, not a hassle and definitely cheaper / less waste than a whole bird as we don't eat the legs!
