Christmas returns policy

Does anyone know what the dates are for extended returns for either amazon or argos? Can't see to find the info online? Just about to spend a shit ton on Lego and want to make sure it can be exchanged if not the correct item.

I bought something in Argos yesterday and was told they are allowing up to the end of Jan for returns to allow for unliked presents.

After the sports direct returns thread the other day - I thought that that was exceptionally customer friendly (usual is 30 days with Argos)
