Pretty much as the title says. DD is 6, she's starting to tell the time so I thought a watch for Christmas would be a nice gift. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

I've looked at the Lego one, but not sure how comfy it would be to wear. I've also seen a Timex one which looks nice but I'm just not sure. I basically don't want something that's a bit rubbish that will be difficult to tell the time from, and put her off learning.

DS1 has a times, and DS2 a swatch that both have the minuites marked as well as the hours. Both have found the extra numbers helpful.

Timex, not times.....

How could I forget Swatch?! I had a fab one when I was younger where the face popped out.

Thank you for the recommendations.

We've gone through a few, and the Timex ones are dodgy in terms of battery life - one was fine, next two died within months, fourth one was fine. But they are the only ones that aren't 'time teacher' (which dd thought were babyish) but with straps that go small enough and are comfy, so we're on our fourth (for two dds). They're also waterproof and fairly cheap, which is good.

These ones.
