Head to boots 3 for 2, that will stretch your budget and they do some boxed teas/biscuit sets usually.

Waitrose and m and s also do nice food presents and usually gave a sale at some point.

WellTidy · 27/11/2017 15:10

Boys and girls 5 and under - for the 5 year old: Dobble or Link It (card games).

Younger than 5 - basic small Duplo sets.

Women in their 50s and 80s - M&S do lovely boxed jar candles for £7.50. The neroli, lime and basile is lovely, as is the grapefruit and ginger. All of that range are lovely. They do room sprays in the same fragrances.

Edibles for the men.

Carluccio's have really nice and quite luxurious-looking food items in your budget, eg: www.carluccios.com/shop-online/chocolate-gifts

Nice savoury things, too.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/11/2017 18:04

Men - chutney, pickled onions, crackers, pork scratchings, mustard

Women - bottle of Prosecco and one of the small Hotel Chocolate packets

Older women if not drinkers - nice tea and biscuits

WHSmith limited edition Christmas jigsaw puzzle currently £9.99 (usually £16.99)

Definitely head to boots for 3for2 for ladies and children

Jaffalong · 28/11/2017 05:03

Try the works and the Book people for kids gifts.

2 for £10 kids gifts

10 books for £10 and then add selection boxes to these to bulk it out. You can buy multi boxes from home and bargains. These are just ideas.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 28/11/2017 07:42

I'm really sorry but I hate when people just go and get 3 for 2 on a job lot of smellies. What's wrong with going on Amazon and actually choosing individual gifts for £10? There's lots of lovely things you can get for £10 based on people's interests and that show you care enough to put some effort in.

Trialsmum · 28/11/2017 07:46

Primark fleecy pjs for the children. They’re £6-£7 and look like a biggish bundle.

thegirlupnorth · 28/11/2017 07:54

I'd there's a B and M or Home Bargains near you, get yourself there, there's tons of stuff, or TK Maxx.

Taffeta · 28/11/2017 08:12

The Christmas Chronicles by Nigel Slater is wonderful and some places have it for £9.99.

Small Grid It for the men

Women in 80s: a ‘voucher’ where you take them out for a cup of tea and slice of cake at your local coffee shop

Under 5s : The Bear and the Piano book or most Usborne story collection books

Asiaticlily · 28/11/2017 08:31

If you have a Tiger near you they have a lovely red heart shaped casserole dish for £6. It’s about 20cm X 20cm so not huge but a nice gift.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 28/11/2017 15:26

I was in The White Company today, and they have winter 'flavour' candles, small but special and prettily boxed, for £10.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/11/2017 18:06

The White Company also have really beautiful battery operated tealights. They are £12 for six, but there are sometimes codes knocking around, and they work out very good value and have a long battery life.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/11/2017 18:07

I'd far rather have those (or indeed the wine and chocs I mentioned earlier) than cheap smellies from Boots that are obviously three for two.
