Cooking legs separately

Our turkey last year was the size of an ostrich. So am going for a crown this year to make things simpler.

The place order from gives the option to buy a crown and legs. I really like leg meat but I don't know when (in comparison to the rest of the turkey) I should stick them in the oven. They take longer than the rest of the turkey I think? Would I just stick them in a bit earlier? Cover them in foil? The only recipe I can find for doing both does the legs confit style and covering anything in fat really doesn't appeal. Despite it being Christmas and all!
