Posting gifts

Hi,

This year I've got to post a few gifts. What would be the best way to pack it and post it? Any ideas on nice packaging?

I always post two big boxes with presents in for my family (one to each of my brothers where there'll be other family too).

Do all your normal decorative wrapping (if you're into bows and ribbons or anything) on the individual present/s. Then wrap in tissue paper and put in a plain normal cardboard box (one you got with your online shopping is ideal. You can fill any extra space with newspaper or reuse packaging from things sent to you.

If the present is already box shaped then after wrapping in your Christmas wrapping paper you could wrap it in brown parcel paper instead of double boxing it.

Don't add decorations to the outside of the box as they'll get damaged in the post. If you feel that is too plain you could get any DC to decorate the box or stick Christmas stickers/ gold stars to it. But make sure the address is clear.
