Do Americans do advent calendars?

I'm a YouTube makeup video junkie and it's wall to wall 'holiday gift sets' out there, but I've just noticed none of the US bloggers are mentioning beauty advent calendars?

Maybe Americans don't do advent calendars?

Was there an advent calendar in Home Alone? ☺️☺️

Some years ago I bought a beautiful advent calendar from a fancy upmarket chocolatier in California. They had a range of them so I guess they are not unheard of in the US, even if they aren’t as popular as they are here in the UK.

I’m American. It’s not rare to find an advent calendar, but it’s usually just chocolates and/or aimed at children. You don’t see these big beauty advent calendars or anything like that.

I don't think they do Easter eggs either which seems crazy, we (as a nation) must spend millions on them

Blimey! If the YouTubers get wind of eg the Marks and Spencers one there's going to be OMG-ing heard on the moon ☺️☺️
