Can anyone tell me where these silly things are still in stock? Genuine ones, not the fake rip-off ones. Everywhere I've tried so far have sold out.

DS tells me MUST have one, so he's going to ask Santa when he see's him at the Grotto

Pink one is currently in stock on amazon and has been for a couple of days for £14.99, maybe the mad rush for these is tailing off??

It's not actually in stock on Amazon, they're expecting stock and won't charge you for it unless/until they deliver it
The good news is, they have it at Hamleys where I am overseas. The bad news, it's the equivalent of £30 😩

I picked two up from my local Argos today at the normal price. I couldn't choose the colour when I ordered them but they let me choose out of the colours available when I got there.

My fingerling (white) arrived from amazon yesterday.

Am still awaiting the purple one ordered from toys r us, should have been here yesterday

Argos have them in stock right now in lots of stores to click and collect. Being awake with the baby has some benefits! 😉hope that helps someone.
Amazon also have them back in stock to order for 14.99 the proper sold by Amazon ones. It's for prime customers only but you could always sign up for a new free email and re-register and get a free prime trial? Just a thought!

My toys r us one arrived yesterday

Stock still seems to be trickling in to most stores - and Amazon (actual Amazon not the market sellers) keep having them in stock on and off. I spent 2 weeks trying to get just one and now have way too many as have 4! 1 glitter, 1 glitter and gym and 2 normal ones!

I had to tell a poor lady on local Facebook selling site the other day that her fingerling was a fake - turns out she had brought it off Facebook for £40! Do your research people!

I am now in a quandary of what to do with the two I don't need. I hate the idea of making a profit on them, but I also hate the idea someone buying them off me at £15 and then flogging them for £40. Am gonna put feelers out on my Facebook profile if anyone is hunting for one I think

Aaaagggh! V glad I read this thread. I bought a teal one in Cards Galore last week and thought I had the real thing. The shop assistant even did a demo.

Now I realise I've got a fake- wrong hair colour and the wrong packaging- no Wowee branding. What do I do?

I would take it back for a refund tbh. I would also take a copy of the information from trading standards and fingers crossed they will refund you.

Or I guess you could speak to trading standards for advice.

Were they selling them as actual Fingerlings or did the shelf edge ticket call them something else, Clawdeen? If they aren't selling them as Fingerlings they aren't actually fake. But worth speaking to TS as it IS misleading, even if they've labelled them correctly.

I put on one of these threads the other day that there was a whole stand of them in various colours at my local Asda last week.

thatsmysanta I'm not sure! I was in midst of Xmas shopping stress, hot and bothered and was so relieved to see what I thought were Fingerlings, I didn't pay much attention. It was only reading this thread and realising the hair colour didn't match up that made me realise it's not an actual Fingerling. My fear is my daughter opening it on Xmas day and it not working.

Not sure if I'd get a refund on the basis of me being mistaken/not paying close attention?

Wondering if it's better to have a fake than nothing at all? So far I've not found a fingerling. Am signed up to the stock informer website. Please let me know if there are any sightings in London!

I'm looking for one too. Particularly a black one, but just doesn't seem to be happening. I can't bring myself to run the ebay gauntlet.

Claw, I'm not sure really. If it's a fake it may be dangerous. If it's just pretend and CE-marked, then I'm sure it would suffice.

I'd probably return it on the basis it's a fake and see what they say.
