Articulate Junior?

Any good for an 8yr old?!

I’ve never played articulate the adult game so any good all round?

Or any other games suitable for 4-10yr olds which have a thinking element (so not buckaroo type games, more monopoly type)

My son really likes monopoly empire. It doesn't go on forever like monopoly. I have also got him labyrinth but never played it, just relying on positive reviews.

I love the adult articulate but never played the junior one so can't help with that. We do sometimes use the cards for articulate and pick the easy ones for him to guess and describe.

Thanks ode

That’s what stopped me buying monopoly, I’ve not played it for years but distinctly remember it going on forever!

I’ll have a look for labyrinth, I remember reading about it on here somewhere.

Thanks

My children love Junior Articulate and it’s great for 8 year olds.
We enjoy Dinkee too (Junior Linkee) and Family Trivial Pursuits.

My DD 8 really enjoys it, she also likes banana grams which is a good stocking filler!

Cluedo, Labyrinth (on DS' list this year), Trivial Pursuit Family edition, Scrabble, Rapidough (maybe not a thinking game, actually).

I have bought Junior Articulate as our family present from Santa.

Junior Articulate is brilliant and fine for an 8yo.

My kids love it!

Mine loved junior articulate when they were younger, and it can be played alongside the adult version so everyone can play at their own level.

Again, when they were younger we played an abridged version of monopoly so it didn't go on too long. Now they play it properly and a game can last days Grin

Other favourites are Don't Panic, scattergories, pictionary, the logo game, banangrams, the London game.
